Nick Baldwin, ONR’s Chair and Jane Bowie, Superintending Inspector, recently attended the launch of POWERful Women’s report Igniting Change: Building the pipeline of female leaders in energy. The report, commissioned by POWERful Women and written by PwC, calls for a dramatic rise in the number of women entering, staying in and reaching the highest levels of the energy industry. Jane Bowie is featured in the report, talking about her career in the nuclear industry and discussing how to attract more women to leadership positions in the industry. Jane is ONR’s representative for both POWERful Women and Women in Nuclear. ONR is committed to addressing the challenges set by the report and we will be developing a strategy to ensure we achieve them.
