The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) has published a new regulatory research register, following on from its Research Strategy published in August 2015.
The work identified in the register will help ensure that ONR inspectors form their regulatory judgements confidently and effectively, using sound, up to date scientific and technical information.
ONR undertakes research for a variety of reasons, but all supports its goal of being an exemplary regulator and is aligned with the ONR Research Strategy.
Each year, ONR will publish an annual research update to confirm and publicise the work completed.
