The Office for Nuclear Regulation, the nuclear safety and security regulator, has published its Annual Report and Accounts for 2016/17, along with our plan for the coming year.
The report summarises ONR's performance, provides an overview of our regulatory activity, and includes the Chief Nuclear Inspector's annual statement.
This year, we undertook over 1000 inspections and issued four Improvement Notices, ensuring we continue to hold the nuclear industry to account on behalf of the public.
