EDF Energy NGL has complied with an ONR Improvement Notice served on 11 May 2020.
The Notice, which related to shortfalls in the examination and inspection of the Reactor 1 pressure vessel at Heysham 1 Power Station, was served under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 Regulation 9 1 (a). Compliance with the Notice was required by 18 December 2020.
ONR is now satisfied that EDF Energy has made the required improvements and completed the 11 overdue examinations of the pressure vessel at the Lancashire facility.
