Fukushima lessons learned: UK action plan published

The Office for Nuclear Regulation has prepared a report for the European Nuclear Safety Regulators Group outlining how the UK will continue to implement lessons learned from the Fukushima Dai-ichi incident in 2011.

ENSREG produced an action plan in July 2012 and required all national regulators to provide country specific action plans to outline current status and, where appropriate, the planned completion time for each recommendation.

This latest report for ENSREG, published by ONR on 31 December 2012, draws heavily from existing reports previously authored by ONR and in particular the implementation report published in October 2012.
