The Office for Nuclear Regulation is holding a formal three-month consultation period to provide an opportunity for interested parties to comment on the application, by Rosyth Royal Dockyard Ltd, to begin decommissioning of seven out-of-service submarines at Rosyth Royal Dockyard in Scotland.
Consultees are invited to comment upon any aspect of the decommissioning project, particularly the environmental impact statement. The consultation is available to view here.
This consultation will close on 22 April 2014. ONR's decision report is expected in the summer.
