RIDDOR – Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013
RIDDOR reportable accidents or incidents on either a GB nuclear site, a new nuclear build site, or an authorised site should be reported to ONR via HSE’s online reporting system. To help identify ONR/ nuclear related reports from HSE health and safety reports, please include in bold text “this incident relates to a nuclear site” within the RIDDOR report.
Asbestos notifications
- Notifiable asbestos removal on a GB nuclear site by a Licensed Asbestos contractor should continue to be notified on Form ASB5 via the HSE online form.
- Notifiable non-licensed work (that is where exposure is sporadic and of low intensity and will not exceed the control limit) on either a GB nuclear site, a new nuclear build site, or on an authorised site should be notified to ONR via the HSE online notifications form.
Construction project notification
In accordance with the requirements of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 construction projects on either a GB nuclear site, a new nuclear build site, or an authorised site that will (a) last more than 30 days and have more than 20 workers working simultaneously at any point in the project; or (b) exceed 500 person days, should be notified to ONR on a F10 ‘Notification of construction project’ via HSE’s online system.
