Nick Baldwin CBE, Chair of the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), welcomes Sarika Patel to the ONR Board following her recent appointment by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions as a Non-Executive Director. Her appointment will commence on 1 October for a five-year term.
Sarika brings to the Board significant commercial and leadership experience in the public and private sectors, both nationally and internationally. Sarika is a Senior Business Director and Advisor and has a wide range of experience in corporate finance, investor relations and technology. At Non-Executive Board Member level, Sarika holds a number of positions, including with the Regulator for gambling and lotteries, the Gambling Commission, where she chairs the Audit Committee. She is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Marketer and will chair ONR’s Audit and Risk Assurance Committee from 1 January 2018.
