The Office for Nuclear Regulation has confirmed that AWE plc has complied with two Improvement Notices served in February 2017.
We issued two Improvement Notices to AWE plc in February 2017 following a planned inspection, which related to the control of changes to management systems documentation that may affect safety. AWE plc was required to address the shortfalls cited in the Improvement Notices by 28 February 2018.
AWE plc has completed the improvements necessary by the due date and ONR considers the notice has been met.
