We want to be more accessible so we’re running webinars. The events have proved popular, with attendees welcoming the opportunity to participate without having to travel.
In August we held our second stakeholder webinar, hosted by Mark Foy, Chief Nuclear Inspector, and Dr Mina Golshan, Deputy Chief Nuclear Inspector and Director for our Sellafield, Decommissioning, Fuel and Waste Division.
The webinar reported on the outcome of the UK Report to the 6th Joint Convention on the Safety of Spent Fuel Management and the Safety of Radioactive Waste Management. All attendees found it ‘useful’ or ‘very useful’, and said they would attend more in future.
We expect to start opening up webinars to stakeholders more widely in 2019, so look out for more details in ONR News.
