Katie Day, Director of Policy and CommunicationsI expect our Strategy for 2020-25 will build on our successes and further enhance our ability to be the best nuclear regulator we can be.
But to be the best means listening to those we work with and those we serve, too. So we’re not developing our Strategy alone. We’ve already started engaging with our staff to hear their ideas. And we want to listen to you too, our stakeholders, to understand what you think our focus should be. All it takes is your time to answer some simple questions.
We’d like to know:
- What are we doing well that we should keep doing/build on?
- What do you think ONR’s priorities should be 2020-25?
- What do you think we should do differently/change?

We’ll also be asking for your input over the coming weeks as we meet some of you face to face, engage through our webinars and also through our social media channels.
We intend to consult on our draft Strategy for 2020-25 before the end of this year, ahead of publication in spring 2020. Watch this space for more details.
