EDF has complied with a Direction served by the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) on 14 December 2020.
The Direction was served under Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (2000) after an ONR inspection found a number of pressure system components at Heysham 1 Power Station were overdue their scheduled examination.
The ONR is now satisfied that EDF has completed the actions and improvements required by the Direction at the Lancashire power station.
