Key findings, inspector’s opinions and reasons for judgement made

Following review of the pre-inspection documentation provided to ONR by Fortrea Development Ltd the inspector judged that a physical inspection of Fortea Development Ltd’s Leeds premises was not proportionate.

The document review identified a number of examples of Fortrea Development Ltd meeting relevant good practice in reducing risk to levels that are ALARP, including a suitable and sufficient transport Radiation Risk Assessment, adequate contingency plan, transport document and excepted package demonstration of compliance.

No non-compliances were identified.

Conclusion

I judged an overall rating of ‘Green – no formal action’ was appropriate based on my review of Fortrea Development Ltd’s pre-inspection documentation and recommend that the inspection frequency of Fortrea Development Ltd’s transport activities should be set at 5 years.
